My wife and I stayed recently at the DaVinci octodome for our 4 year wedding anniversary and to say things were perfect would be an understatement. We were greeted into our relaxing weekend from the get go with a warm welcoming from Tim with incredible hard apple cider that he personally makes. The trail that we used to access the dome drove between a cow pasture and muddy creek, we happen to catch the first dropping of leaves and it was absolutely beautiful. Not to mention we also were able to fish directly next to our dome and even had success! We cannot wait to come back with our kids to try out more and fun filled experiences with them. 100% will be returning to stay in the future!
It was a great way to spend our 26th wedding anniversary. It had everything we needed. The heated bed was a plus on the chilly nights. We enjoyed walking the creek bed, we found some dragon stone and other interesting artifacts. We spent the evening sitting by the fire and enjoying the company of their cat Shadow. We will definitely be back.
This was a last minute anniversary escape just an hour from our backyard. This will forever be one of our best anniversaries. The owners take hospitality to another level. This was our first experience glamping, and it certainly will lot be our last. The property is gorgeous snd the Manor House had everything you could ask. It was super clean, beautifully decorated, and offered luxury comfort. Our experience from the time of booking to check-out was effortless! Wow! So happy this is here in southern WV!
Amazing and unique first time ever glamping. The owners offer top notch hospitality. This is an hour away from our back yard but we wanted a quick getaway for our anniversary. The entire experience from booking to our stay and check-out was perfect!
Wild, Wonderful, Perfection!! My husband and I spent an evening in the Foxyridge dome to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, we met Angela who helped with the golf cart and welcomed us. We took the cart up the path to our dome, where we found everything to be exactly what we had hoped. The accomodations are perfect for a couple like us…an outdoorsman and his wife (who likes to be spoiled a little lol)! We brought along steaks that we cooked in the provided grill, made s’mores while sitting with a picturesque view by the fire pit, and watched the sunset from the hot tub. That evening, Timothy brought around his homemade hard apple cider (which was absolutely amazing), and we had a chat with him about our children (who happened to be the same ages). We also enjoyed using the fresh eggs provided to make breakfast the next morning. This was a totally unique experience with the bonus of wonderful and accommodating hosts! I would recommend it for anyone looking for an escape in an absolutely gorgeous, private setting!

Absolutely amazing! We stayed at the Meadowlark dome for our five year wedding anniversary weekend and it was the most relaxing vacation. The room was perfect. Every detail and comfort has been thought out in the resort rooms, making it the perfect romantic getaway for travel. The views from the resort are immaculate. When you stay WV Glamping Domes for a romantic getaway, consider eating at the home-style restaurant Big Wheel down the road in Alderson. It's close for a quick meal on your travel / trip. Looking forward to our next stay already!
This glamping experience is a must try for everyone! Even though I grew up in WV, I do not consider myself an outdoors person. However, during my recent trip, I was amazed by the breathtaking view and took some stunning photos of the scenery. The dome we stayed at was fantastic. Not a typical mundane hotel stay... My husband and I, a couple, came to this in stead of a hotel to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and received the wonderful gift of an unforgettable anniversary. We had an amazing time taking photos together! The views and attention to detail are very apparent, making the stay feel like a luxury resort instead of camping! The courtesy of the glamping staff and the keen eye for detail create an exceptional experience for couples. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping close by if couples want things to do that are not camping related! Additionally, the hotel offers a stunning view and courtesy services. 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

My husband and I had the absolute best time staying at WV Glamping Domes for our anniversary. It was our first time in the area and it was beautiful. We stayed in the Firelight dome and it was just the place we needed to unwind, and reconnect. Everything was absolutely perfect. The hosts, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our anniversary stay magical. The homemade hard apple cider Timothy shared with his guests as a thank you for staying was absolutely delicious!! We sipped it by the fire while listening to the WVU-Pitt game! We are looking forward to our next non hotel getaway and can't wait to return!

Absolutely amazing! We stayed in Meadowlark for our five year wedding anniversary and it was the most relaxing getaway. Every detail and comfort has been thought out in the dome, and the views are immaculate. We even found a fantastic restaurant down the road in Alderson, definitely check out Big Wheel when you stay. What an incredible and unique stay at WV Glamping - way better than a hotel with waterfront domes, epic views, and stargazing. We enjoyed unplugging, taking beautiful walks along the creek and around the farm, and sitting by the fire; but nothing beats the dome itself! Glad we stayed here instead of a cabin or hotel. The phenomenal heated bed made us never want to get up; the spectacular star gazing from the comfort of the dome; and the relaxing claw feet soaking tubs were just a few amenities of this outstanding romantic stay destination! It’s beautiful! Not a single detail has been missed. The room's rainfall shower, heated bed, hot tub, fire pit, and the star filled sky was perfect, absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to re-visit the domes, (I may never stay in a hotel again,) hopefully when the snow is falling. 💖💖

The different accommodations in each dome provide features you wouldn't even think to want or need...things like heated toilet seats/beds. The farm eggs, and homemade cider were top-notch. The views are gorgeous and there's lots of wildlife to see on and off the creek. This is our 3rd trip to this place in less than 2 years. Every dome so far has had it's own special charm and I'm finding it almost impossible to choose a favorite. Love this place as a romantic get away and have spent two anniversaries there, so far and plan to spend more. Also, would love to book the larger dome with some friends. We cannot wait to try them all out. Spectacular service and staff. The owners are amazing! 100% satisfied. Can't say enough!
My sister and I had a wonderful girls trip. The dome was so unique. We stayed in Aromatic cedar. It smelled so good when we walked in. There are so many unique little touches and made us feel very luxurious. And the bonus of receiving Tim’s homemade cider was awesome. It is his gift to his guests to thank them for staying, and it was nice to have a little chat with him. We rented the golf cart and took several rides around the property. But the most amazing part was kayaking. We had to walk through some shallow rocky areas.. but Tim had let us know if we got past that, we could just go on for as far as we wanted. We had many laughs getting through those areas and it was so worth it. We ended up going for 3 hours and it was so peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend anyone to visit here. It has something for everyone. You can make it an adventure or just relax by the water in the hot tub at the dome. We will definitely be returning with our husbands. Almost Heaven, West Virginia! My sisters and I decided we wanted to take a last minute trip. We looked at a bunch of places and then came across WV Glamping's website! We were drawn to this place! Everything seem to be perfect and everything we wanted for our trip. We were definitely not disappointed. The owners were amazing and kind. We arrived to a clean dome, complete with complimentary fresh laid eggs (when chickens are laying)! They supply everything including shampoo and body wash in the cute little private outdoor shower and bathroom! The owner even provides you with a complimentary tasting of his homemade Hard Apple Cider (when season allows) brought to us while we were in the hot tub, how perfect was that! The owner Timothy makes it himself and let me tell you it is delicious! We looked forward to kayaking but the water was low because of lack of rain, however that provided us with an even greater opportunity to search the creek for the mystical Dragon stones! Yes, we found some! My sister also found an Indian artifact with a carving on it! What a fun, exciting experience this whole trip was from start to finish! WV Glamping is an amazing place and we loved everything about it! We will definitely be going back and we are absolutely referring everyone we know to go and enjoy this wonderful place.
