We stayed at the Meadowlark for our 20 year wedding anniversary and everything was as described on their website. We absolutely loved the quietness and the comfort of the meadowlark. Even during a thunderstorm our first night it the place was awesome was able to just watch the rain and lightning through the skylight. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. We will definitely be coming back but next time it will be with our boys. Thank you for a wonderful experience we had the greatest time during our stay.
We stayed in the firelight dome for our anniversary and had the most amazing time. Every detail was perfect and even with the chilly weather we had so much fun in the cozy dome. From the heated bed to the heated toilet seat, the owners seem to have thought of everything! We are already planning our next trip!

LOVED our weekend getaway! We stayed in Meadowlark and it was beautiful and just what we needed. We had gorgeous views and the location was perfect. We enjoyed time in the hammock, time in the hot tub, and time just relaxing in the chairs facing the mountain. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll on Butterfly Trail and took in all the beauty of the creek and mountains. The dome itself had everything needed including a heated bed! We will definitely be back to check out another dome! P.S. the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smelled sooooo good!
Much needed weekend getaway! This place was absolutely beautiful! The fun of camping but with some Glamp!!! This place is a must at least once but we will definitely be back. We had beautiful weather arriving then turned into a rain/ice/ snow storm. It was freezing this weekend but the cozy dome was all we needed! Had the best stay in the Aromatic Cedar dome for our Valentines. It was so relaxing with the hot tub, fire pit, the river and no television or distractions. We had so many giggles and good conversation and the heated bed was our absolute favorite. Definitely recommend trying this out especially if you need or want some quality time with your significant other.
My partner and I had a really lovely stay. The owners were very responsive, thought of anything we could possibly need, and everything was clearly marked and easy to navigate. We definitely recommend!

Stayed here for our 19 year anniversary and we absolutely loved it, we stayed in the aromatic cedar, the dome was stocked clean and beautiful, we even got to watch an otter catch and eat its fish breakfast from our dome, we had a great experience
Being 2 nurses working in a busy ER this was EXACTLY the get away we needed! The peace and quiet was unmeasurable, along with the intimacy and privacy at Foxyridge. We enjoyed the private hot tub, rainfall shower, walking or driving the golf cart around to explore, oh and the stars. The stargazing was amazing as we had clear nights and could see for miles! This getaway will forever live in my heart as we rekindled a flame dying from stress and left there more in love than when we married! We will definitely be back and 100% recommend to anyone! 10 stars if I could! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Our dome was heated along with a heated mattress, AC, fans, small kitchen and grill, place settings for 2 and dishes for prepping. Everything needed and thoughtfully provided for each guests needs. The owners were responsive and helpful with questions when needed. Not one bad thing to say! Book today, you will not regret it!
What an amazing little getaway, from booking to arrival to departure it was a true 5 star experience! My wife and I booked last minute for a birthday getaway and we were blown away with the hospitality and beauty that was offered just 5 minutes from Alderson! My husband and I rented Aromatic Cedar for a romantic getaway, and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the hot tub while drinking wine, listening to the creek beside of the dome, and just enjoyed each others company. We will absolutely return! The hospitality was amazing. I could write a story about the wonderful experience my Boyfriend and I had over the weekend of Dec 15-17, 2023 but I will sum it up in a few words! WEST VIRGINIA is said to be Almost Heaven, well I was as close to Heaven as I could be staying here! Every detail about our stay was PERFECT. Meadowlark was our Dome away from Home. WE WILL BE BACK! I was gifted a weekend stay for a Christmas present last year. This was the first weekend they had open, so we took it. I was worried about “camping” in December, but I am so glad we did. We had been getting very detailed emails from the host for a while explaining the check in process, what to bring, what to expect, etc. The sites are very easy to find and the entrance is well marked. The first things you come to are the 3 domes by the creek. We were staying at Meadow lark, which is on top of the fields, so we had to load everything into a golf cart to get there. The instructions were very clear with where to park and the codes to the golf cart and the door code for the dome. We did have to make two trips to get everything to the dome, but it was a fun drive on the golf cart. Our dome was at the top of the field, but the golf cart handled the muddy path with no issues. It is a working farm so you do have to be mindful of the cows and horse. The dome itself was very nice and well stocked. It is heated with electric heat, as well as heated mattress pad. There is a microwave, hot plate, refrigerator, and all the dishes and utensils you need. There is also an outdoor grill for you to use. The bathroom has a small hot tub which is partially heated by wood stove outside. Make sure to keep the fire going as it takes a while to heat up. There is a waterfall shower head and handheld wand for the shower. We had plenty of hot water for showers the first two days, Sunday mornings shower was a little chilly. There is a private commode in the bathroom as well as a sink. There are plenty of towels as well as soap, shampoo and conditioner. We opted for breakfast on Saturday and it was wonderful. The host delivered it promptly at 9 am and it was hot and fresh. We even found out his secret for the French toast. We had an issue with one of the lights, so we send a text just so they would know. He replied immediately and came to fix it. He was very respectful of our privacy but was always available to answer questions or deliver firewood. While he was there fixing the light we were talking about his farm and how everything works. I could have talked for hours about all the things he did in the domes. He is very knowledgeable and likes to tinker with everything. There is wifi there but it doesn’t always work. I’m sure that was user error on our part as it worked at times. We didn’t miss the wifi as it forced us to put the phones down. We had brought games to play so we stayed occupied. We did trek out on Saturday to Gap Mills to visit the Cheese and More store and the Dough Ball bakery. Wonderful food at both places. Downtown Lewisburg is also close by if you want to shop in small boutique stores. Thank you to our host for an amazing and peaceful weekend. It was what we needed to recharge before the holidays. We will visit again and check out one of the domes by the creek.

We had an AMAZING time at WV Glamping Domes this weekend! It was exactly the peace we needed before heading into the busy holiday season. 🎶 Hot tubs and fishing and warm heated mattresses. Campfires on cool nights drinking Tim’s Apple Cider. Stargazing by the fireplace rings. These were a few of our favorite things! 🎶

We stayed at the Foxyridge dome in early December. It was the coziest, most relaxing trip I’ve taken in a very long time. The dome is beautiful. The bed and pillows were perfect. And the views were stunning. Check-In and Check-Out are seamless and could not be easier. The owners are very quick to respond if you have any questions or need anything. They were very accommodating. They clearly take great pride in their business and it shows in all the small details of the domes.
My fiancé and I booked the “Meadowlark” dome for my birthday and oh, my, god, it was BEAUTIFUL! We had the best time cruising around on the golf cart and became fast friends with the farm horse, Elektra, who stopped by our dome every day. We were provided breakfast and the eggs were the best eggs I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend this place enough! The owners were very responsive and the dome provided everything we needed for our stay. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
My husband and I stayed in the Meadowlark dome to celebrate my upcoming birthday. The dome was absolutely beautiful as well as the views from the dome. The heated bed was so cozy and the hot tub was a great way to unwind and relax. We loved that there was a speaker to bluetooth our music to in the dome. Timothy's cider was delicious and a must try! Loved staying here before the thanksgiving holiday rush. It was good to get away with the kids and disconnect. It rained almost the whole time we were there but we enjoyed listening to the rain and taking a nap 💤 we will be back in the summer time so we can enjoy more of the outdoor adventures!
Meadowlark NOT AS ADVERTISED
My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary getaway. The Meadowlark had very limited pictures online but I loved that it was secluded and seemed great for couples. We got there and we were honestly shocked at the lack of yard/lawn care- everything was all grown up around Meadowlark and it did not look good at all. The part of the building that connects to Meadowlark was not shown online or Facebook. It was not pretty at all and was not all the way finished. It looked like it had been slapped together. The power was out when we got there which the hosts of course did not have control of that- they tried their best to deal with that but their back up generators did not work as they thought they would. The hot tub is a HOMEMADE hot tub that is way too shallow. No matter how much water you put in, it just pours over the edge. That was the most pitiful looking hot tub we have ever seen. We travel a lot and have very high expectations. The hot tub was right beside the toilet so when you flush, that nastiness is all going right in the hot tub. The views were amazing, the homemade cider was amazing, inside the dome was super cute but this was not at all what we expected with everything I have mentioned. We ended up getting our money back and going somewhere else because it did not meet our expectations. Every other dome seemed to be exactly as advertised and had full size hot tubs that you could fully submerge in. We had considered trying a different dome another time but when we saw the Owner the next morning, he did not ask anything about our night or our stay. We stayed the one night because it was too late to go anywhere else and it had been a hectic hot day with no AC/Power!
We had such a wonderful experience in the meadowlark for our 12th anniversary! It’s so refreshing to have such wonderful hosts. The cider was wonderful. Heated blanket/mattress. Seclusion. Wildlife we saw (horse wasn’t one 😂) it’s close to so many activities as well. We can’t wait to book for the summer and bring our kids!
Absolutely amazing! We stayed in Meadowlark for our five year wedding anniversary and it was the most relaxing getaway. Every detail and comfort has been thought out in the dome, and the views are immaculate. We even found a fantastic restaurant down the road in Alderson, definitely check out Big Wheel when you stay. First time glamping. Booked this for my husband's birthday. Colorful fall foliage to see on the way. Secluded private road led to the 'domes'. Located between farmland and an amazing stream, everywhere you look is a picture perfect moment. The night sky is wonderous. On a clear night you can not only see stars, but the Milky Way too! I even caught a glimpse of a meteor shower. The owners have given full attention to detail, from the heated toilet seat to firewood, dual control heated bed, heaters over the beautiful soaking tubs, a/c, fans, comfy bed, stocked kitchen, and walking path along the stream. You might see a heron or otters. I sat just watching the bubbling stream and the fall colors for a long time. It's just a wonderfully peaceful and beautiful getaway. Timothy the owner kept in touch answering all my questions, and even brought us some of his award winning cider while we were sitting by the firepit. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back. Each dome has its own personality and they all have the conveniences of home and added luxuries. Perfect combination of rustic outdoors and luxury.
What a unique experience! We loved our stay at #WVGlampingdomes! It’s all the benefits of camping without any of the inconveniences. You have plumbing so you can take a shower, A/C for the hot days, heat for the cool nights, and even a heated bed. It also had wifi and a hot tub. We stayed in the Foxyridge dome and loved how secluded it was with such a beautiful view! There’s no other way we’d rather stay! We were able to explore so much of WV while staying there: New River Gorge National Park, Babcock State Park, Sandstone Falls, Hawks Nest State Park, great food in Fayetteville & Lewisburg. We stayed at The Manor and had family meet up from across a few states. The location was perfect, easy access but quiet in the woods. The domes are so unique and had just enough provided to feel cozy but still feel like we were camping. The service and communication was above and beyond and we appreciate the hospitality! Thank you for letting us and our family dog come enjoy, relax and disconnect for a weekend getaway. All the yard games were perfect for additional activities and the paddle boards and kayaks are a cherry on top for things to do.

The rear fire-pit sitting area on pebbled ground, facing that magical creek, with the company of a beautiful blue heron, is a memorable scene in our minds. The sound of the running waters through the rocks and bolds are like a symphony played to awake our deepest sense of spirituality. The freshness of the morning dew bringing that unforgettable fragrance of plants and herbs. This is truly a surreal and special place. That is a piece of Heaven between the mountains of WV. Mom and dad date night
We arrived to a cozy romantic setting Friday evening. The room was setup so cute and perfect for the two of us. Our trip originally was a birthday gift turned into a random trip that was then changed to a late honeymoon overnight stay. Since we don’t get much one on one with each other (2 year old at home), this was exactly what we needed. The hot tub was very clean and really helped unwind and destress from the day to day activities. One of my favorite amenities was the heated bed since the weather has cooled down some. Highly recommend anyone looking for a quiet oasis to do this. We love finding the beauty in simplicity and if you are wanting to slow down and just spend time together this is perfect!! We can’t wait to come back for a couple days and try out the trails.
This place is a hidden gem! Even if you are not an outdoor person you will enjoy this experience! You feel like you are staying at a luxury resort but you can still experience the fun of camping! This glamping experience is a must try for everyone! I do not consider myself an outdoors person even though I grew up in WV. My husband and I came here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and had an amazing time! The views and attention to detail is very apparent and makes the stay feel like a luxury resort instead of camping! There are plenty of restaurants and shopping close by if you want things to do that are not camping related! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

I grew up in WV and no longer have a home there…. Coming here felt like coming back “home”! The host is very friendly and attentive and the views are spectacular! Perfect for a couples getaway! Here you can unplug and relax and just take in nature!

We stayed in the Firelight dome and it was just the place we needed to unwind, and reconnect. Everything was absolutely perfect. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed to make our stay magical. The homemade hard apple cider Timothy shared with his guests as a thank you for staying was absolutely delicious!! We sipped it by the fire while listening to the WVU-Pitt game! We are looking forward to our next getaway and can't wait to return!

Being 2 nurses working in a busy ER this was EXACTLY the get away we needed! The peace and quiet was unmeasurable, along with the intimacy and privacy at Foxyridge. We enjoyed the private hot tub, rainfall shower, walking or driving the golf cart around to explore, oh and the stars. The stargazing was amazing as we had clear nights and could see for miles! This getaway will forever live in my heart as we rekindled a flame dying from stress and left there more in love than when we married! We will definitely be back and 100% recommend to anyone! 10 stars if I could! 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Our dome was heated along with a heated mattress, AC, fans, small kitchen and grill, place settings for 2 and dishes for prepping. Everything needed and thoughtfully provided for each guests needs. The owners were responsive and helpful with questions when needed. Not one bad thing to say! Book today, you will not regret it!
What an amazing little getaway, from booking to arrival to departure it was a true 5 star experience! My wife and I booked last minute for a birthday getaway and we were blown away with the hospitality and beauty that was offered just 5 minutes from Alderson! My husband and I rented Aromatic Cedar for a romantic getaway, and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the hot tub while drinking wine, listening to the creek beside of the dome, and just enjoyed each others company. We will absolutely return! The hospitality was amazing. I definitely recommend these domes 🫶🏼❤️

We've designed this dome to help you escape to the magic of the ridgeline of our mountain meadow and chill. 💕 🌸 🌻🌼🌳. You will be the only dome in sight from inside your dome / hot tub with an unobstructed view of the milky way and the starry night sky from the dome and hot tub. Catch epic sunsets from the hot tub, or from inside your dome. This dome features all the luxurious decor and amenities you have come to expect from us. We pride ourselves in creating unique luxury accommodations for our guests and Foxyridge continues in that tradition. (see more info at the bottom of this page on what is included)

Foxyridge is one of our most eco-friendly domes, without sacrificing any of the things our guests love - featuring partial solar power, ☀️ a fire pit, 🔥 outdoor grilling area, private bathroom 🚿, Large Hot Tub 🛁, and a heated King bed. 🛏
BONUS (Golf Cart): Your reservation includes the use of (at no additional cost) a Golf Cart for access to your dome during your stay. You'll have an assigned parking space and transfer to the golf cart to access your dome (a few football fields from where you parked). You are also welcome to use the golf cart in designated areas on-site during your stay. The golf cart may not be taken off-site for any reason. By placing a reservation you agree you will use the golf cart responsibly, at your own risk, will not operate it while under the influence of any substances or alcohol, obey all signs, and be responsible for any accidental damage to the cart.

All rentals get a complimentary bundle of firewood. Additional firewood is available for purchase.

Fun:
Have a look at the pages under our Activities menu. We have kayaks, stand up paddle boards, yard games, and there is a plethora of outdoor activities within an hour's drive.
- Adult-sized e-bikes available for rent (first come, first served) The bike will fully drive under its own power without pedaling on flat or mild incline ground. Depending on your weight you may have to assist pedaling on your way along the driveway/path to "Foxyridge". Weight limit is 220# Access to Foxyridge goes up a steep gravel driveway and through a meadow, so we recommend only reserving the e-bikes if you are comfortable mountain biking with good core strength and fitness level.

Floating Lantern Experience (NOTE: Until legislation changes we can no longer offer this. They are illegal in WV. 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Feel free to contact our legislature if you'd like to see this law changed - as we do.)

We will provide biodegradable Floating Lanterns for you to self-light (Think the Floating Lights from the Disney movie Tangled) and A tiki torch to light them with. This experience is perfect for commemorating a life moment. The lanterns float so high they often go out of sight before self-extinguishing. (We also offer a version of this event where we will light 10 Lanterns and send them up for you to watch from a distance (perfect for a surprise, for Proposals, etc. If you'd like that version, simply select the "Curated Lantern Experience" on the checkout page.

Winter Sledding: When mother nature blankets our mountain meadow in snow it turns into an epic sledding hill. Sledding is complimentary for all (at your own risk).

My wife and I have used our own memorable (and not so enjoyable) worldwide travel experiences to inform our decisions and we have incorporated as many unique things as we can that fit with our dome vibe to offer you an authentic, enjoyable (dare I say exotic) experience. We hope you love what we’ve created! The kitchen has: Minifridge/Freezer, Keurig (with complimentary coffee pods/creamer/sweetener), Sink, Utensils, and various bowls/plates/mixing bowls, etc for eating/cooking/serving. It also has a gas grill. The kitchen is also stocked with cleaning supplies, a broom/mop. The dome also has a Solo smokeless fire pit. (Complimentary bundle of firewood and more available for purchase if needed.) There is also a private bathroom with toilet and shower at the dome. (with soap/shampoo/conditioner provided as well) For this dome and the Meadowlark Dome, you can choose whether to bring your own linens/towels or have us provide them. We also have kayaks and stand up paddle boards (SUP) for use on-site at no additional cost (first come-first served). We want your stay to be a stellar experience you remember for a lifetime.

We stayed at the Meadowlark for our 20 year wedding anniversary and everything was as described on their website. We absolutely loved the quietness and the comfort of the meadowlark. Even during a thunderstorm our first night it the place was awesome was able to just watch the rain and lightning through the skylight. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. We will definitely be coming back but next time it will be with our boys. Thank you for a wonderful experience we had the greatest time during our stay.

LOVED our weekend getaway! We stayed in Meadowlark and it was beautiful and just what we needed. We had gorgeous views and the location was perfect. We enjoyed time in the hammock, time in the hot tub, and time just relaxing in the chairs facing the mountain. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll on Butterfly Trail and took in all the beauty of the creek and mountains. The dome itself had everything needed including a heated bed! We will definitely be back to check out another dome! P.S. the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash smelled sooooo good!
Much needed weekend getaway! This place was absolutely beautiful! The fun of camping but with some Glamp!!! This place is a must at least once but we will definitely be back. We had beautiful weather arriving then turned into a rain/ice/ snow storm. It was freezing this weekend but the cozy dome was all we needed! Had the best stay in the Aromatic Cedar dome for our Valentines. It was so relaxing with the hot tub, fire pit, the river and no television or distractions. We had so many giggles and good conversation and the heated bed was our absolute favorite. Definitely recommend trying this out especially if you need or want some quality time with your significant other.
